Art 338C: Creative Digital Photography
Fine art digital photography course for art majors. Digital image-making as a personal fine art expression. Historical attitudes and processes, as well as new materials and contemporary aesthetic trends. (9 hours laboratory).
Course Objectives:
In this class, students will gain the ability to express and articulate themselves through photographic methods. This course is designed to develop a sense of visual literacy encountered in fine art digital photography and to acquaint students with the most current programs in photographic imaging software. In order to better understand the construction and manipulation of images, this course will emphasize critical discourse through readings and class discussions.
